Melons
Closely related to cucumber, pumpkin and squash. Melons are notably sweet, with the Honey Dew being the sweetest. Melons especially the watermelon are considered ideal health food, for they are low in calories and fat and packed with vitamins (A, B6, C) and a good source of fiber and potassium. Most melons are available all year except the specialty melons which are in season between November and May.
