Del Monte Fresh Produce Company recognizes its obligation and responsibility to protect the environment and has made public its environmental policy, applicable to all of our operations and products. As a reflection of this policy, our environmental programs are continually audited, both internally and externally, and have been certified in ISO 14000, the international standard for environmental protection, and/or in the EurepGap protocol, the European food safety standard, good agricultural practices, worker health, safety and welfare, and environmental protection.

Del Monte Fresh Produce Company products are produced according to strict crop protection recommendations that take into account the regulatory requirements of producing and marketing countries. Del Monte Fresh Produce Company does not use products banned by the United States, European Union, or World Health Organization in any of our agricultural operations worldwide. Compliance with corporate pesticide management policy is assured through regular site audits, internal and third party and random, scheduled residue tests. IPM techniques are used in the production of our products.
